Logan Purcell

FRI 5:20 PM | SECOND STAGE

Born and raised in the hills of eastern Kentucky, Logan Purcell proudly represents a dynamic triple threat of Appalachian singer, songwriter, and musician. A prominent force in the central Kentucky music scene, Purcell rocks the stage & studio with an inspiring blend of classic country, high-energy Southern rock, and gritty Appalachian ballads. Boasting an electric stage presence and a world-class 4-piece band, Purcell has played on numerous stages across the southeastern United States—opening for the likes of Dillon Carmichael, Hunter Flynn, Walker Montgomery, Sean Stemaly, and many more.

Drawing inspiration from childhood heroes including Keith Whitley and Brooks & Dunn, Purcell strives to “write songs that have meaning to myself, my family, and the amazing folks who listen every day.” His debut EP “Ain’t Right” released in 2023, with tracks like “Ain’t Right” and “You’ll Never Leave Harlan Alive” contributing to his initial breakout success. Purcell most recently released his brand new single “Dirty Floorboard” in honor of his late grandfather, representing his most exhilarating project to date.
