SOMERSET, KENTUCKY (June 18th, 2026) — Master Musicians Festival is proud to announce a new partnership with Lifeline Homecare that will provide complimentary admission to all Kentucky veterans during MMF33.
The Veteran Honors initiative was developed by Lifeline Homecare as a way to recognize and thank the men and women who have served our country. Through the program, any Kentucky veteran may attend the 33rd annual Master Musicians Festival free of charge by presenting a valid veteran ID or a Kentucky driver’s license with a veteran designation at the festival entrance gate on either Friday, July 17, or Saturday, July 18.
Master Musicians Festival Executive Director Tiffany Finley said the organization immediately embraced the idea when Lifeline approached them about creating a meaningful way to honor veterans.
“When Lifeline Homecare brought this idea to us, we knew it was something we wanted to be part of,” Finley said. “This is a demographic we have wanted to find a way to recognize for many years, and Lifeline provided the opportunity to make that happen. Music has always had a unique ability to bring people together across backgrounds and generations, and we are honored to welcome Kentucky veterans to be part of that experience.”
Finley also noted that Lifeline’s commitment to MMF and the Somerset community stretches back decades.
“Lifeline has been a longtime supporter of Master Musicians Festival. Their owner served on the board when the festival was first being organized more than 30 years ago, so this partnership feels especially meaningful. Their commitment to serving people and strengthening our community has always aligned with the values of MMF.”
Lifeline Homecare owner J.T. Wilson said supporting veterans was a natural fit for the organization’s mission.
“Our veterans have sacrificed so much for our freedoms and our way of life,” said Wilson. “This was a simple way for us to say thank you and provide an opportunity for veterans from across Kentucky to come together, enjoy great music, and be recognized for their service.”
“We believe strong communities are built by taking care of people,” Wilson added. “At Lifeline Homecare, serving others is at the heart of everything we do. When we approached MMF with this idea, they immediately shared our excitement, and we’re proud to partner together to make it happen.”
The Veteran Honors initiative reflects both organizations’ commitment to accessibility, community engagement, and service. Kentucky veterans interested in participating simply need to present a valid veteran ID or a Kentucky driver’s license with a veteran designation at the festival entrance gate to receive complimentary admission. No advance registration is required.
Master Musicians Festival will celebrate its 33rd anniversary July 17-18, 2026, in Somerset, Kentucky. The festival continues its mission of bringing world-class music and arts experiences to rural Kentucky while remaining affordable and accessible to people of all walks of life.
