Pedestryans is a rock n roll trio based in Lexington, KY. The band originated with Destry West (vocals, bass) and Roman Fawns (guitar) as a bluesy acoustic act in 2015. The sound at that time was influenced by artists such as Dorothy and Larkin Poe.
In 2020, the group released its first single ‘It Ain’t Right’ and brought in Joey Stamper to fill out their sound on the drums. The trio would release two more songs that year,‘Tepid’ and ‘Animal’, with the latter garnering the most online streams to date. This marked a turning point for the band, adopting a more energetic and dynamic style of alternative hard rock to go along with the soulful melodies that served as a foundation for their sound.
The group draws influences from artists such as Jack White, The Black Keys and The Pretty Wreckless while mixing in a unique blend of blues, alternative and progressive rock. Pedestryans is recording new music in November of 2025 and is anticipating the release of two singles as the year comes to a close.
