Classical Night with Bee Taylor & The Lexington Philharmonic String Quartet

THUR 7:00 PM | THE VIRGINIA

Bee Taylor returns to the stage with the Lexington Philharmonic String Quartet for a special Classical Night performance at the historic Virginia Theater as part of the 33rd Annual Master Musicians Festival.

A Nashville-based artist adopted by the Bluegrass State, Taylor has spent years building a reputation for genre-defying songwriting and emotionally immersive live performances. This orchestral collaboration represents a full-circle moment—one she has envisioned since childhood—reimagining her catalog through sweeping string arrangements that bring new depth and resonance to fan favorites like “Horse Runnin’,” “Twenty Seven,” and “Randy Newman.”

Backed initially by the Lexington Philharmonic String Quartet, Taylor’s songs unfold with cinematic weight and harmonic richness, revealing fresh dimensions of her storytelling. As the evening progresses, her full band joins the stage, blending orchestral textures with soul, jazz and pop influences before concluding with a powerful, intimate finale that highlights her versatility and command as a performer.

This performance is not simply a concert, but a rare artistic convergence—where orchestral precision meets raw songwriting and lived-in emotion. Audiences can expect a moving, one-of-a-kind experience that underscores why Bee Taylor continues to stand out as one of the region’s most compelling voices.

The Virginia will host MMF33 Classical Night featuring Bee Taylor and the Lexington Philharmonic String Quartet on Thursday July 16th at 7pm! Limited tickets will be available beginning Friday, July 30, 2026 at 10am for this one of a kind performance.

MMF Classical Night is presented by Lake Cumberland Resort (LCR3) & Lake Cumberland Property Investments. (LCPI)
